Prince of Wales Island is located in a rain forest where it gets over 100 inches of rain per year. This particular morning as we were hiking up Sunnahae Mountain, behind the city of Craig, Alaska, I was intrigued by the little droplets of water on the Sitka Spruce tree which grow abundantly on the Island. It's wood is used for buildings, furniture and guitar tops.
