This has to be the most spectacular sunset I experienced so far on Prince of Wales Island. I was working at my desk, which faces south and noticed that the sky was becoming more and more colorful. I grabbed my camera and ran to the beach. I was sitting there in awe of this magnificant view which covered the entire heavens. I must have been there for about 30 minutes taking pictures and as the colors started to fade, I looked around to see, unbeknowns to me,a crowd of people who had also gathered to take in the site. I was totally absorbed in the beauty and didn't even hear or notice them.
